What was significant about Gettysburg?

i think it was saratoga not gettysburg

Gettysburg was something about Lee going to PA.

for the population growth one, I put West and Northeast...arghh....

What did you guys put for the hot air balloon political cartoon with the Populist Party banner thing?

anyone remember other questions?

Populist-I put how it had a bunch of small parties with crazy ideas

^^was that one of the answers? I don't remember anything about crazy ideas. I put something about the Populist being made up of small parties?? i don't remember..

I think there were two answers that said it was made of small parties, but one of them also had something about how the ideas weren't good.

Did anyone else put Jefferson for the quote about having national debt?

What did you all put for the map of this region in the South, and it showed before and after Civil War, and the choices were like the former slaves remained in the South...the growth of churches...

it said "platform of lunacy," which would suggest that they supported impractical ideas.

For the national debt, either I left it blank or put Hamilton..?? I really don't remember...

For the map one I put that freedmen stayed close to the plantations that they worked on since even after the Civil War not many freedmen owned their own land.

^ ditto

.

Hamilton supported a national debt. His assumption plan proposed that a national debt would keep the nations' wealthy interested in the wellbeing and continued success of the new nation.

One more question..

Something about the US and Japan relations during WWII?
choices include permission for Japanese troops to stay in Manchura, that's all I remember..

I think we didn't allow them to have troops in Manchuria.

What was the question/answer for the Korean war?

what was the question? ^^ or choices?

Was Kent State a response to the bombings in Cambodia?

yeah, that's right. what about the WPA question? i put that it spent millions of dollars to jumpstart eco.

-What did the WPA do?
-What was an indicator of bad economy before 19-something?
-What was the answer to the passage question about working in a factory?

-working in the factory, I thought that was the union one?
