they never passed the equal rights amendment, states didnt ratify it...

what did you put for the ballon with all those populist groups on it

they never passed it but their fought for it didn't they?

the ballon one was that populism was successful because lots of small groups banned together.

wasnt the 1950's one corruption in government....since the suburbs have nothing to do with corruption. All of the other choices were centered around conformity/consumer goods/etc

For the 1950s except, I put corrupt gov as well

how much do you think 9 wrong and 2 omit is?

hmm, you may have a point, but i just thought choice E, something with softening the body was totally obscure. it might have been a trap hehe

probably 760-780

These are the ones I apparently missed...are you guys SURE about all of them?

-patronage=giving favors to supporters
(I said supporting a party)
-Gettysburg=Pennsylvania
(I said something about the Potomac)
-railroads didn't improve manuf
(I said Embargo Act of 1807, since that was a failure)
-currency during Civ War -> unrest
(I said speculators lost money)
-Taylorism
-big businesses v. merchants

Total, plus some others that I've verified--I missed 10. What would that be? I'm thinking I might cancel...

missed 4 omit 1 so far

man, I wanted to get a 800!!!!!

for the ballon one, the cartoonist made them look silly and stupid, and the ballon looked like ****, so i thought he was against the populist party; thus resulting in a negative answer. I forgot what i put.

for teh balloon populist one i put something like lots of groups joined together ideas that were unlikely....because on the picture if you notice it said platform of lunacy

After 1840 "abolition" usually referred to positions like Garrison's; it was largely an ideological movement led by about 3000 people, including freed blacks. Abolitionism had a strong religious base including Quakers, and people converted by the revivalist fervor of the Second Great Awakening

so i assume the answer was religious middle class men and women

I hope so.....

btw did Garrison advocate black pride?

no that was the answer for marcus garvey

and the quote did u guys get alexander hamilton, with assumption of national debt

I started cracking up when I saw this cartoon on the test:
http://www.martinfrost.ws/htmlfiles/kkk_cart1.jpg

And the question asked something like "What does this illustrate" and one of the answer choices was "This illustrates the poor fate of Horse Thieves"

yea i put hamilton...and what was kent state over...i just totally blanked out...cambodia or tonkin? also, did macarthur get relieved of duty?

cambodia

macarthur got relieved of duty
