goddamn im realizing now ive made stupid mistakes…

5 wrong with 1 omit? what do you think thatll be?

goddamn im realizing now ive made stupid mistakes…

5 wrong with 1 omit? what do you think thatll be?

you can only put CE when both are true AND the second statement correctly explains the first, right?

yeah it did say ionic.

which is false for carbon

yeah it did say ionic.

eep…i have no idea what i put for that question

which ionic one are we talking about? maybe i’m thinking of a different problem

it was the t/f question
the first part said that co2 is nonpolar even though it was two polar bonds, which is T
the second part said that co2 is linear with 2 covalent/polar bonds.

i hope it said covalent. -_-

^^hm..i thought it said covalent but who knows i think i got caught up in the linear part of the statement

im pretty sure it said covalent. I said TT (cant remember the question enough to say CE or not)

I thought it was covalent for that Q…I really really hope it was. I think I did TTCE? It’s non-polar because it’s covalent bonds have linear alignment?

oh that one

it said it had two polar bonds and then said it was nonpolar b/c it has a linear geometry

i put TTCE on that one

lol, that’s what I said a ways back in this thread. It didn’t say ionic - I would’ve caught on if it had…like I said before, the second part of that answer didn’t perfectly explain the first part, but it was close enough to warrant TTCE

The curve is going to be nasty b/c that test was like ~78 easy q’s, ~3 okay q’s, and only ~4 really tricky ones.

this is on a CC forum, so i hope you’re off on your analysis of it being an easy test princeton (i thought it was pretty easy..). god how i hope.

I hope -4 points (3 wrong) is an 800. I really hope so. If it’s -3 I’m going to kick myself for choosing C over Cl in terms of elctronegativity

Well, I do love chemistry lol…I was one of the best AP chem students in my school this year (which is saying a lot from my area cough NJ cough). I might’ve found it easier because I enjoyed learning it! Oh, and the two teachers I’ve had for honors and AP were both amazing.

lol, that’s chem 1 dude!

yeah i was sure i missed only 1 or 2 but now i realize i made stupid mistakes and am over the -3 threshold. Blows but hey its still an awesome score! (hopefully im not missing other stupid mistakes)

“lol, that’s chem 1 dude!”

Technically, it’s Chem II because it corresponds to the college courses Chemistry 202 (first semester) and Chemistry 203 (second semester). I plan to go premed, so general chem is all I need anyway. The MCAT only covers up to AP Chem and AP Physics and somewhat beyond AP Bio plus Orgo.

i was talking about lolcats electronegativity conundrum..learned halogens have the highest EN in chem 1

oh lmao…nvm then

sadly I just finished 2nd semester of general chem at my local community college. I’m not sure if I changed my answer, but I think I didn’t =(
