May 2008 MATH II

Does anyone remember what 34, 35, 36 was?

sorry no. do you remember anything about what the question asked or the answers. then i might be able to remember.

i am sorry but does anyone know what i will get
if i didnt miss any but omitted 10?
(i didnt fill in some of the answers ;;;;;;;;;

750~770ish if you get the rest of answers correct.

thank you mizami!
i was afraid that i might get lower than 700...

haha lol korean rocks, are you going to retake it?

Is curve ever like this: 43 raw score = 800???

I think it was 10tan(66) or somthing.

^^yes sometimes i think.

God i hope i get at least a 700. I really blew it.

^ yeah, that's the answer. i just hope i bubbled in the right one. do you or anyone remember if it was letter b. for some reason, i keep thinking that in my head. thanks guys!

Yes, B) 10tan66 was it.
I think we covered all the tricky ones already.
Assuming we made no other stupid mistakes you should have a small range of what you expect for your score.

^ THANK YOU. i kept thinking i chose the 2cos one for some reason.
yeah, i hope none of us made any stupid mistakes.

"Is curve ever like this: 43 raw score = 800???"
it was for the test in the blue book.

anybody have an idea of what a raw score of 36 or so would be?

^^ Yes, 43 is the lowest raw score equitable to an 800.
^ A raw score of 36 would be a 730.

Here is the chart if you want for future reference: SparkNotes: SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2: Math IIC Scoring

Good luck!

nice! do you think the curve for this one will be the same or a little better?

Personally, I don't think there would be a better curve on this one. I mean, it seems as if everyone thought the test was easy or so-so, except for several problems... I don't know whether I'm going to cancel my test or not... still thinking.

so it was B? that's good then, because i remember B as my answer

What was the answer to the ellipse question?
Was it like 4 and 16/3?

did any of you guys use math programs to help you on the test?

@some-dude
What did the question ask for again?

it was like 4x^2 + 3x^2 = 16...then u had to convert it to basic ellipse form and find a and b.
