May 2008 MATH II

oh my gosh i thought it was kinda hard lol :P there was a few trig problems that i couldn't figure out how to do... I omitted probably 8 or 9.

Oh wow, remembered / figured out why I got the 3D one wrong. Sooo dumb...

i don't remember the question exactly, but how did you do the very last question?

yeah, i think i got (5,0,6) or (-5,0,6) or something like that for 3D question. It was a midpoint question.

omg i had test fright =[[[[

i omitted like 6-9
ugh

i could have done so much better

i think i might retake

is there any chatting room we can discuss or postings are only allowed?

I thought it was pretty easy. Much easier than my practice books at least.
I left 5 blank, and might have missed around 5-8 elsewhere from stupid mistakes.

Overall, not bad at all.

Oh yay! I got that for the midpoint/3D one too.
Does anyone remember the percentage/proportion one? It was like p(t)=something, and how much time would it take for 75% of the issues to be resolved?

just plug in the numbers for T for that one, until you get .75. I believe the answer was D.

^ darn, come to think of it..i might have done it wrong.

was it 12 or 13? I'm not sure I did it right though. there weren't any question I answered with confidence ;(..................

i think i put D for that p(t) question, too. but i'm not confident with my answer.

Okay, I just checked my calculator and I got 65. Was D 65?
I know it was a plug-and-chug question but the wording (proportion/percentage) threw me off. :(

yeah, d was 65

does anyone know how to open up the chatroom? for discussing questions?

If a question were to ask for the maximum value of something, and the actual exact answer were 18.2, should you put 19? or 18?

^I don't remember what that question asked exactly (i dont think it was maximum value), but i remember putting 19.

I put 19. Since its the maximum, and it is over 18, I thought that it couldn't be 18 because then, it would not qualify the number asked.

How about the question with like 8 box/4 box = n(n+1)(n+2)..or something along those lines. I had no clue.

And how about the one that asked about the population from 5.7 million to 6 millions....was it 4 years?

oh yea remeber the one saying find this for .01 and the answer choices came out to be .012354 and another answer choice was .019345 and I was like what the F~.

What did you all put, I think i put the .012 one

f ( x/2) = Root ( 1+ f( x ) / 2) , f( a ) = 0 , 0<x<1 , f ( a/4 ) = ? this was the last question i think. or similar to the last question. anyone remember what he or she did?
