mass bay colony = i put economic advantage, cuz wasnt it a charter one?

Yeah I just checked the Federalism- it's Jefferson.
Mass Bay- I put self governing too.
Progressivism I put diversion of WWI too, but I Googled it and it seems wrong. Anyone know for sure?

Progressivism - diversion of WWI, not WWII

progressivism declined 1917. So it's WWI for sure.

For the Mass Bay, I put the Mayflower Compact. I am such an idiot.

Progressivism declined because of the attention given to international affairs....I think thats what it said.
I could get most questions down to a couple answers but a lot of them I wasn't sure between the last two.
It kinda stunk....

What was the answer to the last question? I forgot what it was about, but I remember struggling with it.

did anyone figure out what the most you can wrong is and still get 700+ is?

You need a raw score of about 64 (out of 90) for 700

Bacon’s Rebellion… (I put down weakening of the authority of royal governor)

I initially put that, but I changed it b/c i remember the brits switching to slaves instead of indentured servants to prevent future rebellions, which would indicate strengthened leadership (not too sure if it specifically meant Sir Berkeley who was a useless tool)

on wiki, it says right to bear arms was revoked as a result of bacon's rebellion, also indicated less civil rights=greater gov't authority.

Two questions

One was about the second great awakening - it was women in social movements, right?

Another question was Madison's view on what solved a big territory and population

For Mass. Bay I put the joint stock to self governing
I put population growth for Madison (it was that or factionalism)
Great Awakening I got wrong I think...or maybe not...I was deciding between Puritans and something else and don't remember what I picked

This was a lot harder of a test than the Princeton Review practices (I got 770 and 800 on those) but maybe the curve will be nicer? I left none blank but think I got around ~5 wrong, unsure of another 5

What's the cutoff for an 800?

I thought the test was hard -_-.

raw score of 80 = cutoff for 800

this test was hard..

The ones I was iffy on:

Fundamental change in US econ during WWI. I said it changed from a debtor nation to a creditor nation (cuz ****loads of european nations owed us money, but i guess we've been extending credit to latin america for some time... but i figured it made more sense than becoming the largest steel producer, since steeltown was aroung in the 1870s, maybe it was the reduction of tariffs, which i thought was irrelevant given high level exports and low level of imports.)

1860 Election. Lincoln got majority of electoral votes (eliminating choice d) but also won cali and oregon, (eliminating the thing about solely carrying the north) but is till thought it was legit.

not sure about what the New Negro is (i didn't think it was back-to-africa since that was marcus garvey) but wiki seems to indicate strong african nationalism (so maybe choice a: demands to be social equals to whites) and also seems to rule out assimilation (although hurston and hughes attended barnard and columbia respectively)

what happened during the civil war, i was stuck between nat'l banking system (seems to be the right answer) and abolition of racial segregation (didn't make too much sense but the other options were whack)

i got the ? on the hudson river school wrong, damnit art questions.

and what was not a provision of the treaty of versailles? it appears to be the formation of czech-slovokia which seemed to be the automatic confederation of the european elements on the former austria hungary empire. i picked reconstruced poland (thought it was an intentional misdirection to world war II) but i looked up the original doc and it has about a solid page on the redefined borders of poland where as it spends about two lines acknowledging the existence of czechslovkia.

yeah second great awakening was women involvement in social reform.

does anyone remember the answer options for the first great awakening question? (think i picked weakened clergy, need to see other options to jog my memory)

is the curve preset, or are we all going to cross our fingers and hope the test was so hard they're gonna lower the floor for an 800.

i'm still predicting a 760+, but idk i was really hoping for an 800 (prospective econ major, who if you can't independent study should've checked off all the survey questions about history background.)

Yeah I put US changed from debtor nation to creditor nation on that one.

1860 election = I forgot what I put, but the thing about "solely carrying the North" is wrong because mountain people in the south voted for Lincoln (I think?)

New Negro = harlem renaissance? I put something about langston hughes

I put abolition of racial segregation for civil war conditions in the North

i think i got the hudson river school question right, but i forgot what I put

I put the reconstruction of poland as well for the treaty of versailles question

That test was...odd. It seems like the questions were either really difficult or really easy.

I skipped two: the one about Eastern Woodlands Native Americans and their English counterparts (***?) and the one about the Truman-MacArthur dispute (because my APUSH teacher basically didn't teach us the 20th century). As far as I can see, I got three wrong--the first question, apparently the one about the Second Great Awakening, and Camelot (again, no 20th century). I'm aiming for 780+ (an 800 would be nice) so it looks like I'm in good shape, but I'll go with anything over a 750, really. That was just a strange test, though.

also does anyone know the question, the difference between the indians and the northeastern colonialists,

I put they had one wife for all their life.
