May 2010 Math SAT Thread

Ok does anyone remember what they got for the X^3 one? It was on the math grid-in section

9531 doesn’t work because 15 isn’t divisible by 10. :(

I got 5128. I think I did at least.

Didn’t the last digit have to be the sum of the first three digits?

@Manman
I think it was 3x… I put 9

Can someone tell me what they think -5 would be?

for the 3x, 12 would work also right?

Wrong question.

-5 is probably a 670-680. I’m guessing -3 and 2 blank is also in that range?

and the one with the line the reflected the length didn’t change right (could someone plz confirm this?)

hey wasnt the answer to where n>0 and n/5 or somehting…was it 20% or 500%??? people are giving me different scenarios…

@Linger
Dang, I was thinking wrong for that question… I hope 9 worked.

^ it was 20%.

linger, that was an early grid in right?

i got 20% for that one with the n

that’s what I put linger

What was the question that had 7.8 as the answer?

@Linger - Correct.
@Galib - 20%.

yeah the line BD was 8 because its a reflection therefore length doesn’t change

-5 would probably be 680-700. The lower bound is based on the Jan 10 curve, and the upper limit is the average math section scaled score.

@240000 - Something about a boy working 4 hours and girl working 3 hours at equal $/hr. How much do they make per hour after earning $54 combined? >7.8<
