May 2010 Math SAT Thread

<p>can someone write like two words next to every question. if someone starts i’ll continue with the other half.</p>

<p>can someone please tell me if one wrong gives 52 or 53 raw score ?</p>

<p>for the one that asked for the mean of the first 101 odd integers was the answer 100.5???</p>

<p>i made it 2x-1=202
2x=201</p>

That’s experimental.</p>

<p>I think the water problem was asking for greatest water change, and I just looked to see where the absolute value of the slope was the greatest.</p>

<p>i copy some of the answers down… It was the section where part of it has no multile choice.

<p>@wittle- the answer was the oe with 1/4 x squared on the left side and the right side had (something - something) ^2</p>

<p>Why did the words have to mean that it was the (1/2r)^2 and not 1/2(r)^2. How could you tell?</p>

The problem said the square of half of r which means
(r/2)^2 which equals 1/4(r^2)</p>
