May 2010 Math SAT Thread

what would you guys say is -2 raw? (1 from fill in and 1 MC). 740-750?

B^2 + b was right.

^ I hope at least a 740 and with 2 blank a 710.

At Steelrealdeal (sp?)'s List:

I don’t see a 3:2 for the running question which asked what the ratio of the girl to the guy was…that’s what I got.

Also, I remember getting 1/2 for the “if he used 1/4 of his allowance and 1/3 of the remaining, how much did he have left?” questions. I don’t see that on your list, either. Anyone else get those answers?

Was the experimental section 3 or 7?

@ RustGust I don’t think i got either of ur answers.

this math was much harder than march. however, suprisingly I think I did well lol.

Writing was easy

What was the 2xn somthing question? was it 2x + X or something?

Also was the bakery question 4?

Reading Was medium/easy

The question wasn’t how much he had left, it was how much he spent on something which was the 1/3 of the 1/4 which is 1/4 of his original allowance.

I did get 3:2 though.

Ah, yes the allowance question was how much was left so I did 3/4 * 1/3 = 1/4.

for the allowance question, i got 1/4

4 wrong is usuallly near low 700s, keep your hopes up!

i also 1/4 and 3:2

Bassir, was that an experimental question? I dont know what question you are talking about =(
For the last multi-chouce in the grid-in section, was the answer choice E?
It was something about v and x and v=7/3b, b=x^2/2

yes it was E

for everyone saying its 8521 for the gridin, why cant it be 9225? :// thanks!

was the question for a 5?

every number must be different

For the ratio with Jill or whatever her name was it was 1:2 not 3:2. I asked 10 other kids and they all got 1:2, all who have high math scores. I thought math was really easy, critical reading on the other hand was horrible.

it was 1/4…i clearly remember that one

wootSAT because you have to have all different digits…

I also got 1/4 for the allowance question.
