didnt the question ask for the area ^? as in s^2?

was the answer to the question with the table, company A Hour 1-$8 Company B $13, (A)6? and was this part experimental?

yes it was. It was not experimental.

@mook32, no that was real. i got 6 hours for that one

the Answer to the question with the table and two rates in prices,
the answer was 6, $25.5 and $25.5.
This section was not experimental b/c i only had 3 math sections and this was one of them.

Uhh no the answer to that was 7. The difference for Table A was 3.5 and Table B was 2.5. If you did it out, it would go to the 7th hr.

I couldn’t get the answer so I went during the break to ask and then put (A). Can anyone explain please?

@ sAxsKy It was 6 hours. You might have counted one extra by mistake.

3 easy questions wrong in this thread so far. My just desserts for not double checking, I suppose.

@sAxsKy

the answer was 6. you had an initial start of 8 dollars for one person, whose rate was 3.5 dollars afterward.

for the other person, you would have a 13 dollar start initially, and a rate of 2.5 dollars afterward.

the initial counts as one hour, and you would have to make the two functions of 8+3.5x=13+2.5x. x comes out to be five, add that to one, the answer is 6

Does 9521 not work? What did I overlook?

ONce again I fail at math.

lol ManMan, the digits dont add up to the first digit, 9. i also said that at first but i quickly realized that it was not correct. i think i ended up putting 8521

5+2+1 doesnt equal nine

The question said that 3 of the numbers = the biggest number. 9521. The small numbers are 5 + 2 +1. That’s 8. Therefore 8521.

lol messed up my addition :(

This might just be my denial showing its face, but didn’t that question about the allowance and the school trip say that he spent 1/3 of what was remaining to go on the trip? And then it asked for how much he had left to use during the trip? Does anyone remember the exact wording? (I know it’s pretty unrealistic that anyone would, but still…)

Does anyone know for sure which math section was experimental?

wasnt one of the answers 20%…the one with n or w/e?

9522!
