2nd time trying…but far worse than I expected…
CR 740
MA 800
WR 670
total 2210 super 2240

I just can’t figure out my WR part…I used to get 750+ score in my practice
and can anyone tell me do I need to retake the test? cause I want to get in the Ivies

Please check back in 7-10 days for May SAT scores
Although most scores for the May SAT are online now, a small number are not yet available. If your scores are not currently available online, please learn why and check back in about a week.

However, my SAT scores are out (760M, 740CR, 680W). I don’t know what’s going on… might give CB a call.

I think CC would tend to be on the higher end of the SAT score pool so if you were happy with your scores before you saw others here you should stay happy. I could never score anything close to the lowest scores posted here (which are still excellent!) and I’ve done OK with life!

My S as follows:

CR 710
Math 690
Writing 720 Essay 10

Total 2120

Second time taking it and first time studying.

Increase from 2000 in December. From what I can tell those scores put him at the low end of the Ivies but at least he’s in the ballpark-and I hope he is happy because his Mom is.

Congratulations to all those who are happy with their results. Remember this is just one part of the process-I am told that colleges are looking at the whole picture.

CR: 630 <- ■■■. Really now? Went up by 10 poitns from last year. Thanks, but no thanks.
Math: 760 <- Probably Stupid Mistakes, but didn’t approve. Curse you stupid mistakes!
Writing: 790 <- OMGWATYAY! Writing is usually my worst section, and math being my best, and I’m absolutely astonished that I got a perfect on my Writing Multiple Choice (9 on Essay), AND I did better on writing than math. I improved 220 points. :D

Too bad Asian parents only look at the 630. >.> And the 760 because I was going for an 800, but w/e.

This is his first time (and I am sure it will be his last!) taking it. Math is not his strongest subject obviously. But I think he did pretty well considering he didn’t do a review course or any practice tests. Is it really worth taking again?! He is looking at schools like NYU, Northwestern and maybe Columbia.

720/730/640
Which is 2090, and over my 1950 minimum… definitely NOT retaking this test lol.
Now to study my butt off over the SATIIs…
ALSO: Where can I find my Essay score? I don’t see where to find it…

770 W
760 M
720 CR
so, a 2250 for my second time taking it, which is better than I expected after that CR. My first test was an 800W, 670M, 730CR in april. I can’t believe I got a 760 on the math… beyond happy, was really only aiming for above a 700. Disappointed in writing mostly because I let nerves got to me and went from getting a 12 essay and none wrong to -4 and a 10… oh well. CR gave me a really hard time-vocab mostly.
Now, the real question: retake? my superscore would be a 2290 (argh! 10 away!) and CR/M a 1490 superscored. I’m a junior right now, looking at Duke, Upenn, Brown, Dartmouth… I really think I could get another 800 in W and improve CR if I dedicated some time this summer. Would it be worth it?

Don’t go to the link where you have to sign in again… like where you registered.

Use the link on “My Organizer” that is in red at the top of the page. At the top it says “Your May Scores are In!” and reads “View My Scores.” It will take you to the breakdown including the essay mark…

I can attest to what austrianpog said in the previous post. At first, I did not see my essay score when I went to College Board - Sign-in. However, when I followed what someone else said in page 3 of this thread, ta-dah I saw my essay and MC scores. :)
