Cloudless, tell me your lit secrets!!!

I did MUCH MORE HORRIBLE THAN EXPECTED :((((( I got a 1940 Expected a 2050+ You can just imagine my disappointment :(

oh man i feel so dumb after reading everyone’s sat scores on collegeconfidential. D: My first time taking SAT was in January which i got a horrible, horrible score on: 1790. I took it again in May and got 1860. -- OMG i have no idea how you guys can be so smart!!! TT do you guys think it’s okay for me to take it again in October? i’m a junior right now and going to become senior in the next school year. i was just thinking how i can use this summer to seriously study to get into the 2000’s for SAT. (of course, i’m gonna be also taking an English course at a community college to get a head start in getting some college units! :D)

May’s SAT scores:
composite score: 1860
CR: 570
WRITING: 570 (ESSAY: 8)
MATH: 720

Ugh… There go my dreams… 1870 composite. Writing kicked me in the nads with a 570. I always did great in writing, but now… Idk what the hell happened. I wish i could take the damn thing again * says goodbye to every dream of studying in the states*

CR: 800, Math: 800, Writing: 800. Oh. My. Gosh.

Ahhhh damn you!!! (jkjkjkjkjkjkjk xd) i.am.so.jealous.

Where’s the essay score?
2000->2230 :)

660 Math
730 Reading
800 Writing (10 Essay/80 MC)

…MATH.
Taking once more in the fall.

Math - 700 sigh
CR - 800
Writing - 770

Screwed math, but am happy otherwise… Should I retake for the Ivies?

2210 composite, first taking (probably last, too), international…
Evenly spread: CR:730, Math:760, WR:720 (11E)

I hoped for more, would have been disappointed with something less than 2200, and now am really confused as to if I should take it again, considering that my other parts of the application (ec’s - international and national leadership; SAT IIs - 800/800) will be really strong.

Reading: 750
Math: 790
Writing: 730
Composite: 2270
I only got an 8 essay

Are everyones scores available online now?

^ Damn, congrats!

Also I got a 2260…should I retake?
Dream school is either Northwestern or Washington University at St. Louis.

760 US History
710 Literature :(

Does anyone know if a 710 Literature is good enough for top 20 schools? I come from a disadvantaged background- non-competitive public HS with not much rigor in terms of academic preparation. We had never read any literature before 1900, so I had to educate myself in that department.

800CR, 800W, and 720M, first time and I’m a junior… I’m not bad at math, it’s just that I make stupid mistakes… I’m probably going to retake it once more just to try and get a 2400 superscored.

I found the math to vary the most from test to test. (720-800)

I know that CC doesn’t exactly intend to be a haven for political correctness, but when you all complain about scores that are higher than 80%, 90%, or even 99% of your peers, do you ever think about how that would make the average reader feel?

I’m not asking this question to attack anyone, I’m simply curious. I do think, however, that we should act a little more grateful for the natural intellectual capabilities which have been bestowed upon us.

Composite: 2130
Reading : 700
Math: 720
Writing: 710
Essay: 10

Is this good enough for schools such as Northeastern and BU?

too many of us get 720 maths. haha how many wrongs did we make? can’t wait for full report! And,soooooo envy of those who got 800 CR!!! How did u do!!!
