May 2011 - US History Post-Test Discussion

@creampuffer xAlex452 @ThaMan that is easily Google-able

I just checked wiki and yeah it is eastern woodlands.

^wikipedia says its not…

it was eastern woodlands (but for specificity sake, they were referring to the southern half of it)

[Indigenous peoples of the Eastern Woodlands - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Indigenous peoples of the Eastern Woodlands - Wikipedia)

The Creeks, Choctaws, Cherokees are all on this list.

Were there different questions/forms of the test? Or are questions standardized for each administration.

theres only one form in the united states starky.

cream puff, chocs and creeks are muskhogen apparently. was that even a choice?

btw cream puff, your link says Iroquois are eastern woodland tribes…lol

What did you guys get for the two questions about the Calvin Coolidge short passage? Also, what was the answer to the graph question with federal revenues and custom duties?

There were certainly some tricky ones, I actually thought the ap exam was easier lol… I feel like I must have missed around 7… left none blank, hopefully 780+, which is a disappointment after going in expecting a 800.

The question about the Creeks, Choctaws, and Cherokees was definitely Eastern Woodland. All but one of the other possible answers were names of tribes and iirc the last just didn’t make sense.

And overall I thought it was easy - MUCH easier than the MC section of the AP test. There were a few tricky ones, but for the most part they were pretty straight-forward.

^bad idea. i went through the big blue book, and numerous questions had under 40% correct and were very tricky.

what was the question about mercantilism? i didnt like any of the answer choices.

what was the weaknesses considered before 1929?

what were the 2 about calvin coolidge and what was the one about MLK’s letter?

the mlk one was obvious if you had crash course or knew about mlk.

alright thx a lot real helpful…wanna tell me what the answer was

idk if i can. try google.

yeah…seriously its one of the first lines on wikipedia.

what was the correct answer for the tricky coolidge interpretation one?

Not putting taxes on the wealthy (or something like that) was the first one I think.

For the second Coolidge one was the answer something like “the public needed bold leadership?”

@bsb, MLK wrote the Letter from Birmingham Jail as an explanation/justification of his actions in Birmingham after hearing that a few priests had criticized his actions. The only reason why I knew it was because I had to read the ridiculously long letter in AP Eng.
