What was the period of the f(x)=3sinx+cosx or something like that? And for the graph did you guys say that it was -sinx and absolute value of sinx?

Rokr thank god haha I was debating internally with that one

refresh me on the “period of the f(x)=3sinx+cosx”. and for the second part yes i did -sinx and abs(sin x), which i believe was answer choice 1 and 2.

@indigoplateau, it’s 8:10 am right now in cali, and right now the proctor should be reading the instructions and kids are filling in the bubbles.

@kiwisarecool i omitted the period of f(x) one. and yeah, for the graph it was -sinx and abs(x), answer choices 1 and 2.

i believe the period was 2?

i remember. i put it in my calculator and got my period as just “2” if i remember correctly. for the bacteria question did you guys get febuary and july?

i got feb and august

what did you guys get for the probability question where he gets like a red, then blue, then green. i haven’t done probability in such a long time i think i got it wrong.

and for the bacteria it was feb and august

I thought it was February and August…

Ok thanks guys :smiley: did you say the months were feb and July? And did you say the number of years or whatever to break even at a rate of 1.5 percent was 2 years? I omitted the one with the weird proportion 75% thing.

i got 1/6 for the probab one…

Probability answer was 1/6. 1/3

i got 1/6 for the ball question

Sorry i meant augusg

@everyone i got 1/6 too. thank god.

@kiwisarecool i got 4 years for the 1.5% rate.

and the one with the 75% proportion thing i think it was 65 the answer.

the proportion question with 75% was like 65 days or something

Yeah i got 65 too :D

I thought the # of years to break 1.5% was either 3 or 4…I don’t remember which I picked.

with the 1.5% rate i got 3.45 on my calculator. i wasnt sure to put 3 or 4 years but the question said it grows on average 1.5% every year so i went with 3 years

It was definitely 4 years…
