How are people studying?
What raw score do you think equates to an 800? 780? 750?
Here we will discuss questions on Saturday
Good luck to all!
how you been doing in your practice test? all the best!!!
I got a 710 on a 1998 exam I found and a 790 on a 1882 one. I’m not sure how reliable those are. I’m looking for more recent stuff but don’t know how much time I have. I’m taking two SAT IIs this Saturday and five APs in the next two weeks!
How have you been doing? @dopefresh
Best of luck
Good luck to everyone taking the test tomorrow! Hopefully the curve is nice and the TTCE section isn’t too cruel
Everyone talk about the test here!
Where is everyone taking the test?
Oh god I hate the TTCE section with a passion
On another note, how well do you think Barrons is for an indicator for the actual test. I’ve been scoring around 720s on it and I know Barrons are usually harder but there scale is really funky compared to other scales I’ve seen.
Plus, the Barrons practice test emphasizes memorizing random labs, showing a diagram and all that. Will the actual sat2 exam do the same?
I feel like Barrons is easier than the real test. Real test asks you weird stuff.
I’m from Miami, so I’ll be taking the test in the next two hours! Hope everyone does well and everyone post your questions and answers here!
done.
How many TTCEs did you guys get?
I believe I got 3 or 4? I don’t remember completely
i got 3 or 4
what questions did you have trouble on
A) What did you put for the empirical formula question? (I think CH3 was what I put, it was in a pure compound)
B) What did you put for the one question on pH and they gave you K(a) and asked for which had the highest Hydrogen Ion Concentration? ( I had answer choice A, completely forgot the value though)
C) Ink is separated by chromatography, right?
D) C(x) H(y) what did you get as your value in that reaction for H? (It was a combustion reaction… I forget what I put)
E) They gave you a question with half a reaction on the test and asked you for something about it? Can someone remember this question and what specifically they asked and also what the answer was?
F) What did you put as the one with the smallest radius? (I think I put like Mg+2)
A) I also put CH3
B) Choice A was correct. The substance was hydrochloric acid
C) Ink is separated by chromatography
D) I think I might have put H8? but I’m not 100% sure
F) Smallest radius was Mg+2
I have everything you had! I’ve checked with friends and it looks like those answers are correct!
Let’s try and remember as many questions as we can so that we can check answers
A) CH3 was right, the molecular formula was C3H_9
B)Highest [H^+] was equal to the largest Ka value
C)Yes, chromatography
D) I can’t remember exactly, but for some reason I remember the number 10… Was that an answer choice?
E)I think you are referring to the oxidation of Sodium half reaction, but I don’t remember what the answer was
F)Smallest radius was Mg^+2
What did you guys say for like #2 polar molecule
What did you guys put for the Yellow colored flame one?
NH_3
