***MAY 2015 Subject Test - US History***

what do you guys think the curve will be? I thought it was pretty hard.

in the regular book its 21 wrong including the guessing penalty to get a 700 so maybe this one will be a couple more

What would 10 wrong normally be on this test, and what do you expect it to be this time?

That lack of pictures (maps, political cartoons, posters, etc) though. I really wanted those, they’re usually easy points…

how many wrong to still get 800? It’s usually like 8 right? Do you guys think around 10 or 12 will still get us 800

10 wrong is going to be between 770 and 800 in the collegeboard blue book

@jessiatwi245 I thought the answer to that question was William Penn?

What’d you guys put for the one about colonial interconnectedness, the college of William and marry? Or newspapers? Wasn’t sure on that one.

@dill3103 i put newspapers! not sure about that one, though. just seemed TCofW&M was too specific to be an answer. Also, Common Sense, by Paine, really rallied the colonists from all over!

I put newspapers too!

does anyone remember the last question and what you put for it? I just remember guessing on it (ran out of time)

@flyinghigh101 - I think E, but I don’t remember the question and I might be confusing it with one of my other tests

the last question was about the babbitt by Sinclair and the answer was the one about american middle class conformity so B (i googled it after)

Like if you thought this test was really difficult compared to practice exams…

Was one man one vote Baker?

thanks. Was the answer to the one about boom in suburban housing the GI Rights Bill?

Baker v. Carr was “one man, one vote”; suburban housing was transportation, I think

@flyinghigh101 it was about the works of sinclair lewis and the answer (that I got) was B.

I second the GI Veteran bill question. Was one answer republican party was split so democrats won?
Did we confirm the maize/fur one?
About the desegregation of military, was it FDR/WWII or Truman/Cold War?

it was truman who did this
