I thought it would be the Massachusetts senator who opposed the Mexican American war, like a Lincoln esque figure
That’s what I got! pretty sure it’s correct.
What was the question where one of the answer choices was New Left?
was there a question on war powers act or the war powers resolution
Also for the Henry quote question, I think Calhoun might be wrong. Calhoun would have opposed the constitution as he would have feared a larger central gov and I. Real life he opposed the constitution. Hamilton, who was trying to appease antifederalists, would have said yes
@zawadscki yeah I was stuck between moral majority (idk what it was) and civil rights, chose civil rights.
And turns out it was New Left
"It (Port Huron statement) has been described as “a seminal moment in the development of the New Left”[2] and a “classic statement of [its] principles”,
-Is native Americans corn/maize confirmed?
-What was the Wilson/19th Amendment questions, and what was the Marshall Plan question? Was it the primary source one?
-Still unsure about American public in support of or against war with FDR. I thought the problem specifically mentioned acts like Lend-Lease, and I was pretty sure that Americans were supportive of these pro-Allied policies.
How many questions wrong do you think it will be to get a 700???
@alldaboston what was the actual question? I cant remember.
@zawadscki not sure exactly, I know it had a quote talking about some form of change in society.
How many questions do you guys think we’ve talked about
Okay to answer fireonice, I didn’t put maize for NA but Marshall plan was one of the answers I beleieve. And Americans did support FDRS
Now time to study for APs. Yay…Fun.
@elmstreetking same RIP. Studying for APES on Monday.
@elmstreetking are you sure about the not maize and/or FDR support answer?
Sorry guys, I just need to see if I should cancel my score or not!
“The North American fur trade was the industry and activities related to the acquisition, trade, exchange, and sale of animal furs in the North American continent. Aboriginal peoples in Canada and Native Americans in the United States of different regions traded among themselves in the Pre-Columbian Era, but Europeans participated in the trade beginning from the time of their arrival in the New World and extended its reach to Europe” I hope fur trade is the answer
Not sure abt make maize but confident on the FDR one
If I already know I got at least 10 wrong from this thread/looking up stuff online and 5 ommitted, should I cancel my score? Was aiming for mid-700s but worried now won’t even break 700
And I specifically states that in 1940, 2/3 of Americans opposed involvement. It changed with Pearl Harbor and lend lease in 1941, have we forgotten about Lindbergh and the America first campaign?
