@blankspacee can you tell me the titles of one or two passages?
reading + math I think I got perfects, but writing was extremely tricky form me. A lot of questions left me thinking for a couple minutes
What did you guys think of the difficulty of each section compared to those in the 4 official practice tests. I thought: reading easier, writing similar, no clac easier, Calc little harder
I thought the same
Multiple choice math was confusing but open response was so easy

Thought the test was pretty easy! I didn’t have much time to study so it was a pleasant surprise. Finished with enough time to check and recheck, and there weren’t any questions I didn’t know how to solve.
@FlyingAnon I’m pretty sure we didn’t have the same version because I didn’t have a salinity math question. The last two of my calculator version were a bit convoluted and took more time though.
@1zogden1 imo, reading and writing were similar to the practice versions. No calc was easier, and calc was more polarized (as in some were easier, but like 2 questions were more substantially more difficult than the rest). Overall, I’d say the difficulty is similar to practice versions.
@amaranthive Are the questions you’re referring to about speed/distance traveled? Those were my last calculator questions, and I’ll agree that they took more time.
@amaranthive Ikr last two for math calc were awful lol.
@YoohooAddict LMAO did you have the freaking driving ms simon and the stupid averages??? it was SO confusing
@amaranthive Yas lol… Those questions were some doodoochips lol.
I thought reading was so much easier on the test I took than the practice tests the college board released
@Roxbury_resident are you from roxbury nj because if so our marching bands are rivals lol
@amaranthive different Roxbury
I felt like the reading was easier, but for some reason I ran out of time at the end: had to guess like 8 questions. For writing, it was pretty much the same but the passages were a bit more complex I suppose. For Math it was a bit harder and more time consuming.
@Roxbury_resident I’m an intl’ student and the reading on the version that I had was quite tough. In fact every passage was 80+ lines long. Much longer than on the practice tests. Many students missed a few questions. Time was a major issue. Writing was as tough as on the practice tests and Maths was similar as well.
Do different versions have different scoring curves?
Do we get to see which questions we got wrong like on the PSAT
Did anyone else notice the changes between this test and the March one? I took both, and I noticed that they put the two English sections together (writing and reading) and then had the two math sections. However on the March test it was reading, math no calc, writing, math calc. Also there were 5 reading passages instead of the typical 4.
They also gave us so many more breaks. We got a 10 minute break after the first reading section, then a 5 minute one, and then a 2 minute one before the essay.
@thecolourist I didn’t take the March SAT but all the official practice tests CB released they all had 5 passages for the reading and the order was always reading, writing, no Calc, Calc.
@1zogden1 yeah, that’s true! the collegeboard’s official guide had it that way too. Weird, because I remember talking with people about the different format.
I found the reading test really easy, and finished with around 20 minutes left. The writing was pretty straightfoward but had trouble with a few questions. The math was unexpectedly time consuming. I ran out of time for both sections, and had to guess.
