Okay, so you have to find the area of circle B - circle C.
(Completely forget circle A… it’s there to confuse you).

Consider Circle B.
Radius: 2.5 units.
So, Area: (2.5)²∏ = 6.25∏ or 25/4∏

Consider Circle C.
Radius: 2 units.
So, Area: (2)²∏ = 4∏

Now subtract C from B.
25/4∏ - 4∏
= 2.25∏ or 9/4∏.

Makes sense? :slight_smile:
(Sorry for the ellipses instead of the circles… )

This question took me like 1 minute first… and then I had to come back to it because first I chose 5pi… then I thought the figure IS drawn to scale and 5pi doesn’t seem right.

Phew!

Well, I explained better… so phooey. :stuck_out_tongue:
And I say that’s a pretty good job with MS Paint… >_>

legal > illegal ? :P

@Feed & @Rangzen -> Hahahaha, ROFL! :)

Lol, thats pretty funny.

How about that question that asked about the slope of the line (and the line was tangent to the circle, and like it was 5,t or something like that?

5/4 asddsaasd

@Any… the answer was 1/2 or 0.5

Eh? Wasnt it 5/4?

^ They’re talking about last free response.
Yes, one of the slope answers was 5/4.
