May 6 Sati

I was zoning out at section 5. I did really good from section 1-4. Everything went as planned. But when I got to section 5 or 6, I got tired.

Hhahaha, you guys are weird, I loved that passage! or maybe cause im a sciencey person...i forgot what the choices for bleak was, but it means hopeless and open to danger...something like that

I actually enjoyed taking the SAT this time...(3rd time), you would think otherwise but yeah...everything went according to plan so i was happy and didn't zone out...wish i had more time for the essay though ><. Hoping to aim 2100+ from 1980 =/

I think that the Diary One and the Water/Rocks one were the CR Experimentals depending on which version you had cuz the Diary one is the one a lot of ppl didnt get.

Is it possible to get an 800 on CR with two wrong? I got two stupid sentence completion problems wrong (that I know of). Also, is it really bad on the essay if you only have a one sentence conclusion?

Well, unless everybody scored badly the would curve the score, but usually it just from 790 to 800. So I presume probably not. And unless your one sentence conclusion was sufficiently long enough and hit right on, there should be no problem.

It was a restatement of my thesis.

did anyone think the reading part of the
writing section was hard??

or am i just stupid

umm.. i think it is not... how could it be hard.. it is not for you to comprehend.. however, i am stuck my brain in math.... after the section 7 reading (the cheetah) i did many wrongs in math...

does anyone remember a fill in with a choice flippant.

I dont know what sentence it was... but I remember selecting "flippant" as an answer.

Does writing a 4 paragraph essay will affect my score?

It was an introduction p., body, body, and conclusion..

You should be fine witht he four paragraph essay. My SAT prep teacher told me that's what they prefer. 4-5.

what about intro, body, body, body?

eh i had a 4 paragraph essay last time and did okay. 10. i dont think it's a big deal 4 or 5

4 paragraphs essay are absolutely fine, they rather have two developed body paragraphs than 3 partially.

i do one evidence till two paragraphs... hux.. i guess the time doesn't allwo me to teel two long evidences. hate that

anyway, sometimes it is so unfair. the one that have one extra cr )experiment qs( becomes more exhausted rather than the one with extra math.. this is so unfair... i would prefer extra math.... so unjust

Do you guys know when you get your scores back? My brother took the test today .... it was about a a10 day wait when I took the test, is it longer now that you have the writing section?

It's gonna be longer due to the october test issues... it should be out by may 31

did anybody get what the answer was for that PE problem near the end. it was like a 3 hour PE class with 3 12-minute breaks and each break came after consecutive blocks of time. did anybody know what the answer was for that one?

and also

did anybody get the answer to that gas/gallon problem which was like it costs d dollars for a gallon and the person has a 2 gallon tank and that gas cost $1.25 a gallon. i got for that one: 2-d/1.25 but i didnt use one of the variables the problem gave us with m miles.

thanks.

also in response to some of the previous posts, the last one in the grid in was 10 for the # of numbers from 4000-5000 with increasing different digits
i did get flippant for one of the sentence completions
i got ascetic for the guy who gave money to charity
for the guy in the office who replaced the machine it was lauded...supercede
and the voice was melodious, not strident
for the girl who was intractable out on the playground with the other kids, i got the word docile

for that cheetah one also there was this one question that asked about what like "grim hierarchy" meant in the context and i was wondering what you put. i was stuck between A and C which said that either it showed the competitive nature of the carnivorous animals or the difficulty the cheetah had in getting food cuz it talked about the passage with the lions who attacked cheetah cubs and how vultures and hyenas took their food. any thoughts? thanks
