My son took his SAT II Bio last yr (same week as AP exam). He got a 760 on the SATII and a 5 on his AP exam. He's signed up to take Chem, USHist and Math II this May, again in the middle of his AP exams.

My friend took APUSH last yr and the SAT 2 USH. She got a 5 and an 800. Another friend did the same thing and got a 4 and a 750. You should be okay.

I'm planning on taking SAT 2 Chem + Math 2C + Spanish (taking the Chem AP test and I'll know the trig identities since I'm also taking Calc and in order to integrate you should know those. I'm not taking AP Spanish though, so I"m a bit worried about that but whatever...)

I signed up to take the SAT2 BIO test on May 6.. two days before the
AP Bio exam.. however, I heard that SAT2 Bio focuses more on details.. while the AP exam focuses more on concepts.. does anyone know? would I have to do extra prep for the SAT2 in addition to studying for the AP exam?

I did very well. I took 6 APs (five 5s, one 4, and one 3) and got a 800 Math II, 790 USHIST, and a 750 (Bio-M). I didnt study for any of my SAT II. I think taking it in the middle of the AP weeks is a big help.

I think it's the best idea, and more people should do it. I'm taking the AP U.S. and Bio tests, so I figure I'll just take the SAT-II tests and kill two birds with one stone.

Does anyone know when registration for the May 6th date starts?
