May be a stupid question, but curious...

Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask a question that’s been on my mind for awhile that I think I already know the answer to, but I just wanted to confirm.

Are there any scholarships available for SAT Scores, individual subject tests (in particular Math 2, World History, and Spanish), and AP Scores?

Would my scores qualify me for anything (I am talking about national scholarships, particularly ones that aren’t targeting minorities and are not need-based)?

SAT: 2220 superscore, 2180 single-test

Subject Tests: 800 Math 2, 740 World History, 720 Spanish

AP Scores: U.S. History: 5 (Will be taking AP Calculus AB, AP English Language and Composition, AP European History, AP Spanish Language, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Microeconomics, this May, however.)

Thanks everyone!

I have never heard of a scholarship based on SAT II or AP scores. But I’m sure there are scholarships that look at all your whole profile.

If there is anything, it is likely from the school you have admitted/applied.

Those look like wonderful scores, congrats. I don’t know of any scholarship (outside) that is solely based on SAT/AP scores. All the outside scholarships I’ve seen are about the “total package” : community service, school activities and academics.

Inside scholarships (i.e. the ones given by individual colleges themselves) are much more based on scores. Don’t know where you live, but in NJ, there is a school that you would likely qualify for about $13,000 a year in merit aid based on your scores. I’m sure there are others like this.

@NJRoadie and @billcsho Yeah, that is what I thought, but I’m going to UChicago, and my scores are only 50th percentile there, so I won’t be receiving any merit aid probably. Thanks anyways everyone.
