May Chem SaT 2

im currently a 10th grader prepping for the chem sat 2.
is the princeton review book the best book out there for chem? i've read the entire book and found it much more comprehensive and relevant to the exam than the barrons book. i want to make sure because last year i scored a 730 on bio m with the help of the barrons book, which i thought waz much better than the princeton book. i want to make sure that im not contradicting my self. Any suggestions? sorry for any grammer mistakes. i waz in a hurry lol

btw i'm for a 780+ on the exam so i rlly want to make sure i'm fully prepared for the exam by may

u r a tenth grader whats the rush!!!!!!!!!?????

shaheiruddin: I read PR's the night before the SAT Chemistry exam (that was the only prep book I read) and got a 780. I thought the PR book sucked, but it was the shortest one for a last-minute cram. Barron's looked better, but I didn't have time to go through it. I think the most important thing is making sure you understand the concepts. Read through PR's book, and if you're not satisfied, try Barron's.

super_leader: What do you mean what's the rush? It is best to take the exam while you're taking the class. Pushing exams off to junior year only increases the pressure and the studying needed.

yeah i guess...i pushed all my tests to the JAN of this senior year..had to take all three of them together...got 800,780 and 750.......i bet if i had taken them on separate occasions i would hav had a 800 on everyone of them....

Use either Barron's or Princeton Review to brush up on topics and information but use SparkNotes, whatever you do, for practice tests.

10th grade!! i would take ap chem class/self study it, ap exam, and then sat 2's.

barron's is better. also read your textbook at school, it should help. i'm also a 10th grader who is taking it, but in june.
