Gifted artists of the Paleolithic period < ANY DEBATES???> ( i chose artisitic technique coz i have no idea of other chocies)
-STILL WAITING TO CONFIRM THE “early attempts” question

ahhh, okay. thanks! it’s a great help anyways! I did choose some that were different from those as well though…

wow. I am so nervous about getting my score back. I thought the CR sections this time were difficult! But hopefully I will get 700+ and not have to take it again.

@ritzyeh : omg so jealous! haha 620 will be good enuf for me. haha i need good scores in maths and writing =/ i m making a list of maths answers but still,i can rmb for like 20 questions only =/

@kikocupcake 700+ is still a dream for me. I kind of feel that the SAT isn’t a true test of knowledge. I mean, when in life are you ever going to need to know the patterns between the sum of prime numbers and the product of prime numbers? I mean topics such as algebra and differential calculus or stuff like vectors can help with architecture and engineering and I feel as if the SAT has gone astray and has decided to test us on things that we don’t really need to know…

Or maybe that’s just me. I go to a british school and we don’t really learn and do tests in the same way as americans do. I think most of our students find it difficult to switch between the two styles and we kind of suck more at doing the SAT. Are there any other brits out there that agree?

^ I’m a romanian, and I agree. Here, we get fed calculus and complicated equasions. I always have trouble with simple questions because i think it van’t be that simple and i lose time by coming up with a lot of equasions to solve Them. So it’s safe to say the math section has, and will always, kick my ass.

no man, you should have read a little more closely. the first line the dude says - A theory of art… hasnt been found. the scientists that gutherie was talking about were in the search of this theory too so im pretty sure that they wouldnt be delighted - its surely sympathetic. good one though - you can still get above 700 +

Man, I failed the Volume-Area question. I used the V=lhw formula even tho it was a cube, and it was equal to V=Area of cube h… so I said, hey, in the blue book, it says that it’s directly proportional if Y=xk. So I said that y=V, x=A and k=h. And naaaaaturally, I cam to the conclusion that V is directly proportional to A, not whatever else answer choices there were :|

Orrrr, maybe we were the ones who were right! Man, that would be awesome. Cause I didn’t do very well on the math sections, so every point in my favor counts haha

I also failed the 5.5 miles thing with Michael. I said that 5.5 *5 = 30.5 and so for him to have a 6.0 average, he should run another 5.5 which would make it a 36.0 which is divisible by 6… failzor. Everyone else here got 8.5 I haaaaate careless mistakes

yes, man… we are definitely right!
I also messed up on a few other questions!! I’m hoping the writing and reading sections will boost my overall score!

I don’t think I wrote a good essay. It’s like my brain froze or something. I’m usually a good writer, but 25 minutes?? That’s insane. I didn’t even write anything in the booklet, like organize ideas or something. I just started writing in the answer sheet and I barely finished on time, and I had about 1 and 1/2 pages, with 2 examples (i used Rosa Parks and James Gatsby. I tried real hard to make them on topic.)
