May SAT and LACs

Critical Reading 750
Math 740
Writing 700
are those good enough for most LACs?

sat scores are good enough but keep in mind thats SAT scores DOES NOT mean admission for an international student, specially if u ask for aid.. essays reccos high school records .. all these are EQUALLY important

they are in or above the range for most LACs. but for top LACs, there'll be hundreds with similar or better SATs... and not all get in, of course! the rest of the app is equally important!

but all this has been discussed in this forum a million times already!

aaron a correction there .. it was discussed a million times in a matter of last 6 months itself..
in total several million times..

to the OP. well it wudnt of course harm to raise it further but any further increase in sats wont get u an added advantage unless u pull it to a 2350+..

as of now your plan of action should be on to the remaining application and shaping up urself for them .. I dont mean u do stuff for wht they want but rather i want you to create an application highlighting the areas u expertise in..

At this point of time.. i suggest the following steps further :

DO serious study on sat2 and excel in them ( 2300+ atleast for top 3 subs) .. sat2 REALLY HELPS your application at top places for their value in ascertaining your academic potential..

Serious research over colleges and your application material. Start planning out over what all documents you are gonna need and how you are gonna go about it..

Select your teachers for your recommendations and well take your 1-2 months to show your best face to them so that the image reflects in the reco letter..

Start On your Essays and prepare rough drafts..

List and Prepare a Sheet full of your extra curricular achievement and other scholarly points of pride and decide on your focus area in the application..

Give Sat1 Another good shot and if you raise ur score good, if not then who cared about that test anyways..

Prepare Drafts of other supplementary essays and get familiar with your final college list and their varied interests..also if you plan to apply for aid, decide on how much in real value would you need by discussing over the Issue with your family..

These could be a good start for your applications till say September and after that you'll be in an awesome position to just move on with the applications..
