how was it cracking nuts…it was that they were working together on separate tasks or something

frida kahlo was pretty easy. dumb question, but did the chimps passage follow right after frida kahlo passage? cause I remember frida kahlo containing only a few questions

“no, they were different questions. the former question asked “what is inferred from this line where it says they are using tools” and the answer to that is definitely cracking nuts, because… it is. that was very easy.”

Lol. The question asked what is inferred but the answer is directly in the text? Tehe.

because it said there were nuts hanging from the trees and that they were hammering away on the anvils. also, chimpanzees use tools to crack nuts.

What was the paradox in Frida Kahlo?

@boston1993 it was an inference question because the sentence that mentioned the nuts and another sentence that mentioned the tools were not connected to each other.

One of the passages about string theory was a condensed version of The Elegant Universe, a pretty interesting book I was actually looking into reading a few days ago. Bits of the passage can be found here at about page 19/20.

[The elegant universe: superstrings … - Google Books](<a href=“The Elegant Universe: Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the ... - Brian Greene - Google Books”>The Elegant Universe: Superstrings, Hidden Dimensions, and the Quest for the ... - Brian Greene - Google Books)

in a short comparison excerpt bit there was a literary elements question where I was choosing between qualification and understatement?

The sentences were structured like this:

blablahblablahblah, BUT (finish sentence). then goes deeper into the topic just mentioned.

^ the probably curve link doesn’t work

i’m not too convinced of complete agreement. cause the statement from passage 1 was like all on string theory’s dick but then MAYBEE its not complete. and i would’ve thought passage two’s author wouldve been like, yeah no **** sherlock. so amused toleration?

Does anyone remember the SC about employees asking for raises?

yeah that was one I thought long and hard about on string theory. I chose “laughably tolerant” or something along those lines instead of complete agreement. My reasoning behind that was that he was discussing that formulation of “theory” was the way to go that whole paragraph. Then the passage stated…“Nevertheless, it could be that experiment is more rational”

Thus, the author of passage 3 may harbor a bit of disgust towards author of passage 1, since he is (after what was a bunch of bs explanation about theory standing alone being reliable) finally mentioning that experiment is POSSIBLY correct.

What were the other options of the mask and frame question?
