May SAT CR Thread

all of the questions at the end of the consolidated list had been already answered on the said list.

luceverita: isnt that what im saying? the consolidated list had said that counterintuitive was the right answer.

omg comeon! why isnt economically equal to succinctly!!!

@bobaba no, im pretty sure passage 2 said that any science can be proven with experimental evidence.

Ok what the f. Who the hell decided to change succinctly??? I say to whoever did that, that the consolidated list is a collective work compiled through debates and arguments. We went over god damn 100 times. Its succinctly.

matthew: counterintuitve and not accurate were 2 different choices

luceverita: i dont think u understand what im saying. not accurate is my answer, and is the only answer.

are the November subject tests too late for ED? random, i know but i need help on if i should take June SAT or not…

matthew: grazie mille ! I am glad we agree.

@ViggyRam
I am thinking about that either. I will apply at ED and I am planning to take Subject Tests after summer.

^yea, but i would need to prep for subject tests still! i havent prepped for any…so like i dont know what i should do! I dont think 1 month is enough for subject test is it?

and i still need to write the SAT again because i did poorly this time …coulda done better.

im so confused as to what to do!

are subject test days and actual test days on the same days? if so, then im screwed because i cant write the OCT sat because i need that date for subject tests…ugh, confused

what was the ostensibly question and what were the other options?

Can anyone venture a guess as to what 2 or 3 incorrect would be?
I’m so terrible with trying to figure out scores.

haha well. i put counterintuitive for the “supposed” question because the claim that the author made was DIFFERENT and unexpected from the norm, therefore it is different from what people would normally expect= counterintuitive?
strangely, i only remember my reasoning, and not the reading in which it came from… haha

viggy: subject and actual tests are on the same day. you take either of these. Which subject test do you want to take?

woot: this part of your reasoning is correct, but counterintuitive implies that the statement is true, which was not the case here

you guys there was this question about asking what was the meaning of the quote robinson crusoe made.

was it

careful assement should be made before making a decision or
take the chance before you lose it?

Yeah It’s “careful assement should be made before making a decision”, definitely.
What’s the question for “Lawyer determined the true feeling” ?

it was assess carefully before committing

Man, i still feel like the story was not a collective work. I thought the Lawyer wanted it to be a collective work, but the Uncle wanted the narrator to write the whole thing. If it was supposed to be collective, then why did the Uncle basically force the narrator to write it? Why was the narrator attempting to write the account by himself for hours? I feel like the Uncle sort of went against the Lawyer as the Uncle knew that the narrator could probably give the most favorable account about what happened with the diamond. Anyone agree or disagree?
