alamodey...i meant...i don't rember the answer nor the question....do u still remeber the question? cuz i would like to do that. thanks

yeah it was 13. it was something like 2x - 3y = r, what is r when you have the points (5, -1)...that wasnt exactly it but close enough. it was 100% definitely 13.

oh and godot, what do you think about the first question of the chinese american women passage? their impact on feminism or to explain the effect of WWII on chinese american women? (i strongly believe in the first)

WWII on chinese american. it was the last sentence of the first paragraph

WWII!
wait till may 30th =P

AH...thank u, now i remember...kool

what did u guys get for the 1/x^2 one (#6 mc on the grid in section, i got y^2), the pentagon one with the ratios (i got 3 to 2) and the notches one:

/_ i got 100

also does anyone remember the sentence completion with the judges and the chile contest...i put unrelenting but i dont think that thats right.

for the inverse and directly proportionality prob...answer was verified to be y^2
pentagon one....it was 2:3 ratio (not 3/2 mistype maybe?) and the notches one was 100...

it was discriminatory...according to most of the people here.

i'm adamantly sure about that feminist one. we'll see in may i guess, but...i'm really, really, sure of myself.

Chone,

The "feminism" answer is definitely, 100% wrong. Trust me on that.

your name would have to have the two last letters dropped off for that to happen. i have faith in my reasoning abilities. there is never a time when i look at a critical reading question and when the correct answer is proposed to me i'm not swayed towards it. i did 500 critical reading problems just the day before the test, and a zillion more before that. there is no more preparation i could have undergone. if i am wrong, that was a really, really tricky question, and i'd put money that the curves gonna be pretty forgiving.

chone- it's definitely not feminism, the whole first passage talked about the impact of WW2

that question didn't require much reasoning, the answer was pretty much there

i'll say it again - we'll see. i eliminated the WWII impact question immediately because of my knowledge of these questions. if thats the answer i'm going to be shocked.

Chone,

I can sympathize. I feel the same way right now about the "benign monster" question on the shopkeepers passage. Most people thought this was an easy, straightforward question; I really think it's a badly written question that should be thrown out, because I can make an argument for either answer.

it was simple. it was characterizing the whatever. from my perspective. honestly though, a lot of people here who were on yesterday agree with me about this feminist one. just think, though, missing up to four can still get you a 780! my girlfriend missed three and got a perfect. and in writing, you can miss four, and get a perfect with an 11 essay. lets go a step further, shall we? in january of 06 an 800 on math allowed for one mistake!

/_ i got 100 for the notches one too

and sry chone, i put the impact of WWII on chinese american women

and on the chili taster one i put deferential which means like respectable or something. i remember them saying that the tasters noted things that normal people wouldnt or something like that

i hate how tricky the CR section can be. like the CO2/ altitude question in the yawning passage was retarded. IMO questions like that dont measure how smart u are. they're just dumb. I'll stop venting now...

when scores become available, do they tell you how many questions you got wrong in each section?

although im not sure of the answers.. its def not feminism. world war 2 did not bring about women civil rights it brought them more oppurtunity in the work force, the answer which implies economic gains and advancement in job oppurtunity is correct, not feminism

Not when they are FIRST available, but soon after that.
