I remember that one answer to the little women question was to show the impact it had on the reader. That's the one I chose, but i'm not sure if it's right or not. Also, does anyone remember how you did the circle problem that had two shaded regions?

it was something along the lines of:
"The authors use of an extended quotation supported what larger ideer?"
answers were like, the misconceptions of a young child, illustrate how an unexpected piece of awesomeness is a big deal, show how quickly she liked it. stuff like that

Yes I remember now I guessed impact, since she was talking about how she connected with the characters

I think A is definately right because the rest aren't good answers and they don't make much sense

Ok good, that's the one question on the test that i was less than 90% sure was the right answer.
if only i hadnt completely bombed the essay :(
woo not studying and getting 5 hours of sleep

The little women one? If that was like 17 I'm positive I chose A, and on the circle I kinda ballparked and said 6pi... I think D=

I chose A for the Little Women quotation question :)

(And for the first time I liked that passage - I have this strange likness thing for Libraries too!! :D) lol

Can someone say what the choices were to the Little Women one. I remember what you are talking about; I just don't remember what the answer choices were and what I put.

what did u guys get one for that sleep passage where the author talks bout people drinking coffee
what was the author trying to say?
was it that they have no idea how sleepy they really are

did anyone get 'tacit' and 'antipodes' for the sentence completions.

And for that same passage, there was a question on how the author felt about something, it was either conviction or diffident (I didn't know what it meant), but I chose conviction. Agree?

sibsager: yeah, I put that

Circle problem was 6PI.

Other crap I remember:

The tone of one of the passages being either "dismissive" or "combative"

I put dismissive

It (little women) was to emphasize something... A, I'm pretty sure.

second dismissive

i think that's what i picked..that one i had to think about for a while too

I put dismissive, tacit and antipdes were the right answers, conviction I'm pretty sure was right, and you're right about the sleepy one sibsagar

I think I chose the option that they are not good judges (thats what the example suggested...) - for the Coffee Q and 'other instances'.
I liked the 'sleep' passage -was quite nice. I read it thorughly and liked it (I had also liked library one).
The archeology one was BORING yawn lol and the passage b4 that where the guy hated shopkeepers and industrial revolution stuff was funny...

For the coffee reference question, I selected that people may not be able to accurately recall their sleepiness, but I had difficultly discerning the difference between some of the given answers.

Easton, I put dismissive too... I read combative and was shaking with silent laughter... I was reminded of 'mortal combat' lolzz ROFL

what did you get for the archaeology that asks what the second author would say about the first passage?

lol I had a few moments like that.

The bisecting math problem said AOE- Age of Empires. wow im gay
