MAY SAT Discussion

PAHreen, same here. that question took me a long time to answer.

lucaskhan i think i said that would further evidence supporting his theory

Lucasknan i don't remember the answer, what were the choices/ or what did you put down?

I put that answer too - that it would provide more evidence for his argument or theory..

was it convivial for the ____ obligations to look after his sick mom untill she recuperated.

and that african library one..i think i put E because it said that the reading related to the girls history?dunno

I don't remember exactly, I do remember putting "further evidence" on one.

What did you get for the question that asks for what both had in common/what both writers would agree on (I forget the exact wording)?

anybody the the BISECTING grid in one?
I got 70

can some1 explain how its 2root3 for the cube one

i put filial for the SC MyFeetOffBeat - I was thinking of French (fille means girl) and i had looked up convivial before

for th sick mom I put filial, because it is relating to family

convivial is like a happy gathering or something so it doesn't make sense

the bisecting angles was 90

"was it convivial for the ____ obligations to look after his sick mom untill she recuperated."

Think that one was Filial.

The bisecting angle grid in was 90 I'm quite sure, the obligations one was filial

lucaskhan, i put that they'd agree it'd be hard to travel on foot

Does anyone remember what they put for the overall tone of the yawning passage, i couldn't decide between argumentative and informative.

I put informative, for the archaelogy I had put they both agreed that a source of food was mastodon.

the cube is 2root 3 because the sides are each 2 and you want to find the diagonal, so you take the hypotenuse of a face (2root2) and an edge (2) and use those as legs for the pythagorean theorem so you get 4+8=answer squared, so it equals root(12) or 2root3

"Does anyone remember what they put for the overall tone of the yawning passage, i couldn't decide between argumentative and informative."

I thought it was informative, but that was kind of a guess, and I was tired from yawning so much.

Sibsagar12,

Look at it this way-

The cube 's centre is not the sphere's centre.

So u have to use 3D trig to get the diameter of the cube

For the diameter of the cube you need to find the diagnol for hte base and use pythagoras

then u had to use pythagoras using a side of the cube to find the diagnol running through centre

i agree with informative, disagree with the mastadon since the 2nd guy said they went on water, so how did they hunt mastadons?

Lucas so you did pythag twice? Because I did that too and for 12! Woot I hope I got it.

Cruiser I'm positive it was informative

Lucas - The second passage mentioned mastodons though, the 1st said mammoths and other big game =/
