May SAT score availability

I am utterly confused about the May SAT score availability. As I understand it from CB website, the score is made available for students on May 26. However, the college I admitted to have a deadline of 31st of May for SAT to arrive in their place (so not the date the score is sent, but is received). The college accepts electronic form btw.

Will my SAT score arrive on time? CB replied me in their email that they will process electronic form on 26th of May, but when I look at delivery time in CB website, it states 1 - 2 weeks for electronic forms is typical. So, which one is true, 26th of May or 1-2 weeks (which will mostly likely be June, denying me my chance for the admission)?

Do I still have a chance, or do I need to rush the score report? How were your experiences about this?

I’m about 99% sure when I answer this, hopefully someone else can back me up here:

That means exactly what it sounds like. It’s when you, the student, receive your scores either in the mail or online, depending upon what you opted for in registration.

Like I said, I’m about 99% sure that this refers to 1-2 weeks after the test date itself. It’s an electronic report, so naturally it takes less time to deliver. The only reason it takes so long is due to the essays, which a human must obviously grade. CollegeBoard understands that scores need to get to colleges ASAP. The only reason that scores aren’t delivered to you personally at the same time colleges get them is that not everyone opts for the online score report, and so they want to level the playing field and try to let everyone know on the same day. Rushed score reports would speed up only your personal report, for the purpose of seeing what you got in order to decide whether to take it again the very next month.

I’m taking the SAT again in May too, so good luck to us! :)

Thank you joshmay for the reply.
So, the time frame of 1-2 weeks is after the test date, not the date the score is available to us? Based on [SAT Score Availability - SAT Score Delivery Calendar](http://sat.collegeboard.com/scores/availability), it will be delivered on 26th, so can I assume I’m safe now (that the 1-2 weeks is NOT after 26th of May, and the possibility that the college could receive it even earlier than I do)?
I’m just quite discouraged to study up, knowing the off chance that my SAT will be unusable to the college anyway, so I need some degree of certainty.

Oh, and good luck to both of us.

Absolutely study, it can only help you.

And yes, the 1-2 weeks is after the date of the actual test.
