May Sat Subject Test Results

US History –> 800

Yeah, I just didn’t really have time to study for any other tests in the middle of APs. Definitely was a good idea to take AP US and US SAT II back to back. I basically didn’t study at all for the SAT II and things turned out well. Also, my AP US teacher didn’t even get up through Eisenhower, so I guess I just know US History really well or something.

I’m taking Math II next Saturday, and I got a 720 on a released mock exam without studying (I took BC Calc this year and basically forgot everything from pre-calc) because I had to leave like 13 blank because I just totally forgot certain concepts. Whatever…I’ll just study all of next week and hopefully get another 800!

@jaxavier, the scoring reports/ scales haven’t been reported yet, those come out on June 1st accord to the CB

730 on Spanish!

Is this sufficient if I want to get into a top tier college (ie: Princeton) since Spanish is my third language and I already have a 800 on World History or should I retake…(you people and your retaking at mid-700 range are making me nervous. D: )

800 LIT… I WILL LITERALLY COME AND FIND YOU. I NEED YOUR POWERS. I’m taking it in june, any tips?

770 US History

Did not take any others because I do not feel prepared yet for Bio and Literature

@kokoro, from what I can see, Spanish is really hard to do well on because a bunch of native speakers take it. If World History is your only other SAT II, maybe you could prep for one of the general tests like Math II or Lit, that doesn’t require you to learn a whole new course.

Or if you took an AP Science this year, you could take the SAT II for that course

A 730 is fine, but if you want high 700’s or an 800, maybe try a test with an easier curve

800 in this 800 in that

T_T how are you people real? :'(

Quick question- would a 760 on the Math II hurt my application? I know this question sounds ridiculous, but multiple people have told me that for a lot of top schools, not having an 800 is frowned upon, so I’m getting a little worried. I took the test last year right after precal, and I don’t think I would be able to remember enough to retake it in October.

Yeah I’m retaking my 760 in Math 2.

I read online that in the past you could only have 6 subject test scores?
Does anyone know if this is still valid?

I dont see how spanish natives ruin the curve. Even the most intelligent hispanics I know have no clear idea of how the grammar works, etc. Don’t overestimate the native speakers.

800 Math Lvl 2
700 US History

800 Bio E.

Thrilled.

780 US History (disappointing considering I had the AP the day before…gahh)
780 Bio M

i took the AP lit test literally two days before, so i was already prepped for that. Take your time, re-read if necessary, and avoid answer choices that seem too dramatic. when an answer seems somewhat true, don’t consider it. The answer must be absolutely true. I don’t know what else to say…
GOOD LUCK :D

800 US History
Got about 4 wrong based on the SAT II US discussion thread.

Anyone know the May curve for chem? Taking it in June

the may curve was really good for chemistry.

About like -5 or -6 = 800

I’m so mad. >_< i stayed up until 12 am Thursday morning just to find out my score in SAT US History, and they changed the date. I’m jw, do they post the results immediately at 12am? or do we need to wait later on in the day?

Got a 750 in math level 2, a 790 in us history, and an 800 in French.
Not too happy about the math score, but I’m only a sophomore so I can retake it. And I took the AP us history test the day before so hopefully that’s a good sign! :)

Math II – 780
Biology (M) - 780
Physics - 790

Satisfied with my scores… didn’t get an 800 in anything but still, not bad.

■■■■ I GOT A 770 ON THE US HISTORY!!! I am sorry for the caps haha, i just didn’t think i would do so well, i thought i wouldn’t even make 700! congrats to everyone :)
