How hard is it to get accepted into Mays as a transfer student from an in-state college? Lets say I have a 3.7 - 4.0 with 34+ hours in core classes. Do you need any prerequisites before being considered? How competitive is Mays? Does A&M only consider GPA or do you need lots of volunteer work, extra-curriculars, etc?

When are you thinking of applying or have you already? They don’t accept anyone for the spring semester. Read this: [Undergraduate Program at Mays Business School](<a href=“BBA Business Honors - Mays Business School”>BBA Business Honors - Mays Business School)

Oh, I was gonna apply for spring semester. What majors accept spring transfers?

I think May’s in the only one.

Heres a more general good source of info: http://admissions.tamu.edu/files/pubs/Transfer_Guide_08_09.pdf

Not sure where to post this, but I just read on a HS forum of mine that my old HS friend, Dr. Jeff Conant (chair of the Dept) passed away in June. He was a great guy and I am terribly sorry for A&M’s loss.
