hey guys i´d like to know how much does a mba graduate make after his/her graduation? Specially if he/she comes from an Ivy League University

both my parents got their MBAs at Berkeley and one makes well over 350,000 a year

All good schools list employment data on their websites. Avg starting salaries at top 20 schools is 100k to 120k.

It probably depends based on the experience of the students. An institution which mainly has junior executives as students is going to end up graduating people to much higher paying jobs than one which recruits lots of 22 year olds from undergrad programs…even if that one is a lot better.

If you are a top 5 school grad, you’ll get like eleventy million dollars.

If you are a grad at any other school…you’ll get like…30,000 dollars.

Check out some school websites.

For example: [Recruiters

Table with median salaries: THE BEST U.S. B-SCHOOLS OF 2008](http://w4.stern.nyu.edu/ocd/recruiters/placement.cfm?doc_id=100720)

^would be interesting to see what the salary and % offers are THIS year.

Keep in mind that salary data can be a bit skewed. I bet many Stern graduates take jobs in the NYC area or other major cities where they are compensated for the extra cost of living. Salaries for the same job can differ up to 20% depending on location.

I would want to know where these Stern graduates took jobs and factor that into the equation.
