MBA in International Management OR Masters in International Business and Finance

Hi folks,

I have been accepted into two programs, one being a MBA in International Business, and the second being a Masters Degree in International Business and Finance program.

Both seem to have similar types of coursework. I don't have a definite career path in mind. Does anyone know if one would be "better" than the other?

Thanks for your thoughts!

What are your work experiences?
Why are you wasting your time and money attending an MBA program if you don’t have an career in mind? What were your personal statements when you applied to these programs?

Thanks, cbreeze! I have a lot of experience leading nonprofit operations and retail operations. I should have clarified, when I say I don’t have a definite career path in mind, I mean that I’m not tied down to a career in just finance or just international business. The goal to attend these programs is to have more academic business knowledge and to step into a senior leadership position at an organization.

In order to see whether it’s worth attending these programs, look into their graduates’ employment record after graduation and the average starting salary. You need to know these facts before spending $$ and time for these schools.

Are these part-time programs?

I thought the same thing, cbreeze! I’ve checked out LinkedIn for any data and have asked schools for any data that they might have. These programs are full-time.
