Hello,
I am interested in doing a joint-degree MBA/MD program after getting my B.S.. I want to do this because that way I can get a health administrative position, or if I decide to open my own practice, this would also be very helpful. Most of the administrators in hospitals are going back to business school to obtain such positions. I was hoping then to do a joint-degree program at some very prestigious schools hopefully in 5 years rather than 4 + 2, but I am not sure if I should do my MBA in health management before or after I get my MD. Also, I know that if I were to do this, I would lack work experience because I would be coming straight from medical school. Will business schools be more accepting of this or will they still require work experience? Thanks,
