MBA (Money) or Love

Mahras inspired this thread. I'm asking all y'all to pick one ONLY ONE.

Your choices: an MBA degree or love. When I say love I mean romantic true love. Its a serious question. You can only have one. I AM NOT inferring that anyone who has love won't be able to have an MBA or someone with an MBA won't have love. I'm sure everyone in there teens has had a friend ask "this girl or that girl, only pick one" / "this car or that car, only pick one" / "this nasty thing to eat or this nasty thing to eat, only pick one" so here's my version. Post and explain. I'm not even telling anyone to do anything or even suggesting anything. Just outta curiousity, I want to know. If you don't want to answer, don't post and this post will just die and not hurt anyone.

I'm going with love.

And just to prove that this isn't attacking the MBA board or whatever. Heres the thread I posted in the cafe. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?p=1135097#post1135097

This is a pretty easy choice.. if you had said millions of dollars its different.

I would pick love. I probably wouldnt even plan on getting an MBA if it wasnt necessary. It's just a two year degree, and it isn't necessary for career advancement if youre good enough.

I love inspiring threads!

I would choose love. Surprised?! Shouldn't be. In trading an MBA is meaningless at best. :p

an "MBA" doesnt guarantee anything....might want to rephrase your question......an ibanking job(with the natural ability to consistently be a great problem solver/analytical thinking, assured) or love..........and i would pick ibanking in a heartbeat.......

mba!!... education is the top most priority!

also agree to carl!

Yeah it's impossible to get an MBA while having a relationship! Even if you decided to move away 2 or 3 years is nothing on love. It is a pointless question. It is like asking wheather you would rather eat meat loaf or buy a television.

This may be alittle off topic but... how many top ibankers and other top tier business people are women? It seems to me that it would be difficult to hold a position like that (and actually getting to such a top position) and having a family and a husband. It almost seems like you have to sacrifice one for the other.
