MBA or MSA if I want to get in BIG 4?

hi everyone, it's my first time posting here, and hope someone can offer me some perspective.

I'm a business undergrad major(but , and have been working for private accounting sector(a small private company) for more than 3 year. I sat and passed for CPA exam, and thought it would be easier for me to land a job in public accounting.

It's had been really tough trying to look for a job for me. I don't even get any interviews. It's probably because of the economy is bad, or maybe I didnt go through campus recruiting. I also think it's because I dont have a US based degree (my previous degree was from China).

I'm planning on going to California State University Fullerton to get a masters degree, but not sure if I should pursue MBA or MS accountancy. I like accounting, and hope to become a controller or CFO someday, just not sure how much MS accountancy is able to provide me at this point since I already passed CPA exam.

I know MBA can open more doors in the future, but wondering if a MBA graduate(concentration in accounting) is not as appealing to BIG 4 recruiters.

Can anyone help me please? Thank you in advance!
