MBA prog admission

Is it possible for me to get into NYU Stern's or Columbia's MBA prog. I will graduate Baruch with a 3.8 GPA and my GRE and internships are pretty solid. So are the chances that slim for a CUNY undergrad to get into a good MBA grad school?

You want to apply to a top program without any work experience?

Nobody cares if you went to Harvard and got a 4.0, your chances are slimmer than slim.

Why do you want an MBA?

I mean i had several years of internships with J.P. Morgan as a summer analyst what else do I need?

Internships do not translate to work experience. Top MBA programs indirectly require 3-5 years of experience before granting admission.

If you go for it now, admissions committees are going to think that you’re applying because you were rejected a full-time offer at JPM, which could potentially hurt you if you plan to apply when you should (after working). So, not only will you get dinged now for having zero years of work experience, but you’ll probably get dinged again if you decide to apply in the future because of the assumption that you were not offered a full-time position for whatever reason.

You also failed to answer why you want an MBA. If this is a question you cannot answer yourself, then you probably need to reevaluate the purpose of the degree.
