As customary let me give a brief history of myself:
Undergrad GPA: 2.9
Undergrad Major: Computer Information Systems
Graduated 05/2006
Plan on beginning grad school Fall 2009
Work as an Investigator for the Department of Treasury, State of NJ as of 07/2006
Considering MBA major in Finance/Accounting/International Business/Global Management
Currently studying for the GMAT planning on taking it for the first time December 08
Then again in the beginning of next year.
Looking at Baruch/Pace/Rutgers Newark/Fordham/Farleigh Dickinson
In your opinion what are my chances of getting into these schools
Obviously I'm shooting for as high of a GMAT score as possible
But are there any chances in me getting into NYU Stern? Or any schools in that caliber.
My employer will fund my graduate program up to whatever Rutgers charges.

It's going to be a tough year to get into MBA school, expecially with the economy the way it is.

Good luck.

Now I know why I am not applying to MBA schools this year.

Your employer funding your degree is a plus. Are you looking into part-time/evening programs?

Yes I am looking into part-time/evening programs.
Currently I have been in contact with Fairleigh Dickinson, Fordham, Rutgers, Baruch, and Pace these are all near me and I can shoot over there after work or on the weekends. But given my work experience (3 years when I begin the program) and background what are my chances in getting into any of the above or even a school such as Columbia or NYU Stern? Obviously I am shooting for a good score on the GMAT but won't know until I take the exam.
