<p>Anybody take both the GMAT and the GRE? How do they compare?</p>
<p>If you want to attend business school, you must take the GMAT.</p>
<p>Oops, yes, I realized that, but I was unable to edit the title. I am looking for people who have taken both the GMAT and GRE to compare the two tests. Anyone?</p>
<p>You can compare that yourself by looking at sample GMAT and GRE tests online or at bookstores. You won't really know until you've looked at the tests yourself.</p>
<p>Sure, I was just looking for opinions on relative difficulty, if prep helped for either, etc. Maybe not that many people took both.</p>
<p>Usually when people are seriously thinking of applying to grad school they should have a clear career objective in their mind. GMAT is strictly for business school and if they are not going to get an MBA , the GMAT doesn't enter into the picture.</p>
<p>I am more familiar with the GMAT and yes, taking a prep course helps.</p>
<p>Son is interested in a dual degree program for MS Engr + MBA. He would be required to take both entrance exams. Hopefully they are not too dissimilar, as it would make things much easier to prepare.</p>
