any decent mba schools known to admit students with little work experience? I ask because Im going to law school and Id like to do a joint degree program and get school out of the way before I enter the job market. I do realize, however, that in the business field work experience is probably more important than any academic achievement...anyways, if anyone knows send it over

Even if you could get into business school, I wouldn't bother spending money on the MBA without some significant work experience under your belt. You might as well major in finance or accounting undergrad rather than getting the MBA.

a friend of mine just finished his UG here at Penn (not wharton, he's in sas) and was accepted to the JD/MBA program at Yale...they are allowing him to go and work for 2 years before (he had an offer from citigroup) and then he can start the program.

Almost all B-schools are known to admit students with little work experience. Very few schools have a formal requirement for work experience. Every year, at almost any top B-school, there are a handful of incoming students with no work experience.

The problem is that it is obviously far more difficult to get admitted to a top B-school without work experience. Impossible? No. But much harder. Just like it's not impossible to make the NBA if you're short, but it's obviously a lot harder.

sakky is absolutely right. My point is simply that just because something may be possible doesn't necessarily make it a good idea.
