When will I find out if I have been Accepted or rejected to this school? I already got into the university, Top 4% and a 28 ACT score? Any ideas?

From what I remember from last year, there wasn’t one wave of acceptances. McCombs slowly released admissions decisions, beginning in early January. It wasn’t by the date the application was submitted, because I submitted mine a week before the deadline, and received my acceptance into the BBA program during the first wave of admissions. (BHP works differently and some of them received their decisions in November/December).

From what i hear, it looks like McCombs has accepted students already this year, and will continue to do so till their spots are filled up. You won’t receive a formal decision on it until the deadline I believe if they do decide to not offer you admission.

What was your second choice? If your first choice declines, your application goes to your second major. I’m not saying you are not in, but an ACT score of 28 is on the lower end, so you are not a lock or safe bet by any means. Anyways, best of luck!

Alright! Well I called them and found out about rolling admission and that the next wave if applications should be coming soon!

Any dates? And what do you think “soon” is?

I just got in like 30 minutes ago!!! So I guess “soon” is now!

When did you apply?!?!?

I applied in august!

Three kids from my high school recently got admitted as well!

I wish i was at least notified if i got in! I haven’t heard a thing!

Congrats catcat34
I wish I could be notified too. If we don’t know by February does that mean we’re most likely not in McCombs?

Just for clarification for anyone reading the decisions are released on myStatus itself - no emails or snail mail or anything so you’ll need to check yourself, although snail mail usually comes soon after the website is updated

Good luck to everyone!

My son submitted his application on 12/1 and when I checked his status yesterday, it showed him accepted to McCombs. He attends an early college high school that doesn’t rank so we are kind of surprised he was admitted . . . most kids are CAPed or have to go in as transfers since they are not auto admits.

Rural route are you in texas or oos?

I check mystatus often. But still nothing. where should it pop up?

Does yours still say " in review" if so that would change

Shiloh77 - we are in Texas - DFW area.
