@eyemgh, I can envision many situations where two applicants are close in MCAs but one wins out despite having a “lesser” accomplishment. For example, all things being equal, someone who took middle school Spanish plus 6 semesters in high school for grades 9-11, would outscore the one who took only Spanish 4 AP in freshman year thereby awarding only 2 semesters towards the MCA. @lolpanda11111, that could certainly be the case, but presumes that academic accomplishment rules all at any institution. There are very few schools that build their classes based solely on academic accomplishment. At least with Cal Poly, you know the rules you’re playing by.
