I have ~4500 MCA Score, with 3.89 CSU GPA and 33 ACT. I know the average for engineering is 4700, just curious what the difference is for easier majors like general engineering.
General Engineering has about a 60% acceptance rate, as compared to Mechanical and Aero, which has 16% and 12% respectively. I would say that a 4500 MCA is quite competitive. I would give you better than 60% odds that you make it. Good Luck!
Awesome thank you so much, I feel a lot better know. I was just a little worried because of my GPA. Also being out of state might help.
would a MCA of around 4500 be competitive for electrical engineering? I’m wondering which major to apply to first that would maximize my acceptance chances?
