What is a reasonable amount of time to put into studying the MCAT? What are the main subjects i should study? What kind of MCAT score would get you into a top 15 medical school?

Use search and look up previous posts. This is covered almost weekly. But you need your general pre-med classes and thats it. Scores have a wide range.

For the record, you should not worry about this until you are a sophomore in college. This sounds to me like it is at least three years off.

The answer would be, however, that 5 hours a day for 6 weeks would be more than enough.

I am in an accelerated medical program that requires a 24 on the mcat's, and I am taking them in August. Yesterday, I went to take a Kaplan practice exam (which was shortened to half the length of an actual MCAT) but the results were not very pretty. I've been studying out of the Kaplan Comprehensive Review Book for the past five weeks, taking notes on all the sections, but for some reason the information doesn't seem to stick. I was wondering what other techniques there are to studying this material, and if I should go about doing it another way. Any advice would help! Thanks!
