Hi, I am now trying to start studying for MCAT but having trouble which company would be best to choose. Currently I've been hearing a lot about Kaplan courses from people who have took the MCAT already and will be taking MCAT. Not many seem to recommand Princeton Review for some reason.

Is Kaplan really that good? I plan to take online course over several weeks and it seems that they will be providing me with all the books I need. Also is there any other companies that offer courses that would be better than Kaplan?

It depends on the teachers in your area. In some areas Kaplan is better, in others, TPR is better. Ask to sit in on a class or two of each to see which style you like. That said, if you’re very self-motivated and/or short on cash, I’d recommend you take a look at this:
[Breaking Down the MCAT: A 3 Month MCAT Study Schedule | MCAT Discussions | Student Doctor Network](<a href=“Breaking Down the MCAT: A 3 Month MCAT Study Schedule | Student Doctor Network”>Breaking Down the MCAT: A 3 Month MCAT Study Schedule | Student Doctor Network)

If you are motivated enough to be able to go through the material without a teacher or class, then I’d suggest that you use this schedule, since the overall cost is about $1000 cheaper than either a Kaplan or TPR course.
