Hi. I'm debating whether to take mcb 102 or chem 135 to fulfill the biochem requirement. Has anyone taken chem 135? I liked o-chem but am afraid of taking a chem majors class. But I heard it might be better than mcb 102...?

What is your major and what are your plans after graduation.

If you are premed, you can actually even take Chem 1B for your fourth semester of chemistry (though medical schools recommend some biochem)

im IB and premed. liked ochem better than bio 1A

then go ahead and take chem 135 if it interests you.

If it means anything, Chem 135 has higher average grade and more As than MCB 102

Take a look

^I looked at the catalog description and the class is described as biochem, so it should also fill your biochemistry recommendation
