<p>Do they make admissions based off class rank (when the review it)? They take first 1%, then 2% and so on? That does not seems fair to someone who applied early and has to wait because of this.</p>
<p>My understanding is that they start with 1%, then 2%, etc until they get to 75% of the total admits. Then they look at the others whole applications.</p>
<p>Yeah, that's basically how it works. Normally McCombs only reaches the top 2.5-3% of in-state applicants, then the rest of the in-state and all out-of-state applicants are pooled together for that final 25%.</p>
