McCombs average HS Class rank?

<p>I'm an upcoming senior who is aspiring to attend the McCombs biz program. I was looking on their website, and I saw the average HS rank was 8%. <p>Can anyone confirm this? There's no reason not to believe the website, but because the auto-admit rank is 8%, I have a hard time believing this stat. Maybe it's true and McCombs just reviews everyone holistically. If I was 10.7% rank in my class, and have a 2190 SAT (730 math, 760 writing, 700 cr), what do you think my chances are at McCombs? BTW, average SAT of enrolled students is a 1320.</p>

<p>The auto-admit is now 7%, and I think it was 7% last year too. I would be 8-10% is right. Think about it, 75% of UT is auto-admit, so 7% or less. If you assume that also means 75% of McCombs is auto-admit then this number is right. So if 75% averages to a 5% (guess on the average between 1%-7%) class rank, then the additional 25% where maybe they take high SAT but lower class rank applicants could very well bring it up to 8% or so</p>
